Dagger & Rose. - many years ago, i took my son to learn a Japanese martial art called 'Isshin-ryu'. The dojo was family oriented, had lots of kids, and had earned an excellent repuation locally over the years. During sessions, all the parents would sit in a viewing area and behold all the action taking place on the mats, including two young women senseis who were poetry in motion to observe. This drawing is a comic book cover concept inspired by those two badass ladies as the protagonists.

old website banners - this is me being mysterious...
 ...then Dali...
...then someone who doesn't like what he's hearing...

Bear & Me - just screwing around here, drawing about not knowing what to draw. This morphed into a self-portrait i was okay with using as an avatar from time to time, though now the image is dated, having cut off all my hair some time ago. 2 on top, 1 on the sides, i told the gal. She said, "you sure?"

Santa Cows - My buddy Chris at the print shop fed me this idea for a commission. penciled, then india ink on bristol, then i cut out the individual objects to paste them for better perspective. This became a t-shirt, though i don't remember it selling very well.

Scoop Newsworthy and Eyeball Shutterman - Character drawing for an idea for a strip called 'Stop The Presses,' about a stereotypical hard-nosed newsman's applying his craft for a shitty tabloid rag. Used a disposable technical pen, and color pencils.

This is a finished pair of panels for the aforementioned 'Stop The Presses thing, and i share this for two reasons. one, because i like the drawings, i feel like it's professional work, and two, to own my grand stupidity in producing something so unprofessional. Been 30 years since i drew this and i still can't get over how dumb "well-a is here, obviously instead of "voila" I actually sent this out to some people that publish toons. so embarrassing.
