My name is Joshua I Kaplan, and this is my gallery. I note the middle initial due to the number of other Josh Kaplans that do creative stuff, none of whom sport an I in the middle, to the best of my knowledge. I'm also Pappydada for the fishing silliness. Herein are a collection of things of which I authored and consider art and wish to share. I have dabbled in cartooning, the rendering of stories and essays, and song writing, and If you are one of those rarest of folk who have even read this far, I thank you, sincerely. I wrote this page myself, all raw html, no scripting, AI, or gingerbread, to be as simple as possible. The links at the top of the page will take you to my work. I hope you like it. About Me I draw, write, and play music, listed in order of how I believe people would grade my abilities, best to not so best. I'm not on social media anymore, other than linked-in (does that still count as social media?). Here is the only place to see my stuff. I do have some music on youtube, just for fun, and as a resting place for video content, but social media too often marks me indelibly with things I have little desire to be marked with, so I stay away. Lately I've been drawing fish cartoons. Jan 10, 2026 Sixers prevailed handily last night against the hapless Magic, on the road. They played a beat up Orlando team, and took advantage of their absenses, which are substantial. Their main guy, Banchero, was hot garbage, and they need him to compete. Both teams made 4 three-pointers apiece. Four! Crazy bad shooting.
